The president of Mt. Morris Mutual Insurance Co. in Coloma and his 8-year-old grandson have died in a two-vehicle crash in Jackson County, Wis.
Seventy-two-year-old Howard Fenske and Blake Fenske died about 5 a.m. Monday morning on Interstate 94.
Wisconsin State Patrol Sgt. Steve Tape says a 9-year-old granddaughter Makaela Fenske was injured.
A vehicle driven east on Interstate 94 by a Delaware woman traveled into the path of the Fenske’s oncoming vehicle.
Tape says the woman was taken to an Eau Claire area hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries.
Fenske served on the Westfield School District Board of Education from 1987 to 1999.
Officials are investigating the cause.
