I guess I’m confused. His auto carrier was Home-owners? Wasn’t he on a motorcycle? Wouldn’t the van’s (that hit him) respond on medical? Did he buy medical on motorcycle policy? Would BI have responded on van policy?

That’s the name of the insurance company. It’s a pup company of Auto-Owners Insurance to keep it even more confusing.
