Don’t you radicals know that Americans are not supposed to read inflammatory documents like the Constitution? :)

Horrible headline. Why do you assume that this extortion by the federal government will “make highways safer” in Missouri? It’s about time state lawmakers got some spine and stood up to the D.C. tyrants. Where do you think “federal road construction dollars” come from? From working people in the states, that’s where. The feds take our wealth by force and then tell us we won’t get any of it back unless we do as they say. Any state legislator who goes along with this is spitting on the Constitution, and should be booted out pronto.

Missouri should withhold all fed taxes collected by the state from the federal government until the federal gov pays the state to collect it and until they reconize the rights of the state and the people. you can’t extort us to make us change our laws !!

This is why we need Ron Paul in 2012 !!

Well said. It is baffling that people buy the notion that state compliance with these mandates from DC is voluntary. They must believe the money comes from the tooth fairy. It’s time for states to get some spine.
