    Does that sound actuarily sound?

If it’s an expense-based discount I wouldn’t have an issue with it.

      LOL@ “broadest possible audience”

It’s important to reach a wide audience.

In some cases it may be necessary to attach a rider.

Hopefully the coverage isn’t too bare.

I think this shows concern for the welfare of the customers.

So, does the insurance coverage come from China, too?

I’m sure the discount will be more than offset by the “buys financial products at Walmart” surcharge.

I’m sure Wally World is getting a kickback for this, but still, is this really the best use of their floor space?

Bet: as a class of drivers, WalMart shoppers’ experience is worse than average. This “discount” is counterintuitive and ought to be challenged through DOI’s…

Sounds “unfairly discriminitory” to me. What is the actuarily justified logic that gives a Walmart customer a lower auto premium than an otherwise identical non-Walmart customer?

Maybe it’s WalMart’s way of helping insure some of the many vehicles that are invovled in accidents while trying to get out of their overcrowded parking lots.

Walmart could make another billion by offering “extra coverage” to all vehicles in their parking lot on Black Friday. Two years ago, my wife and I saw a little old lady slam into a parked SUV, back up, then drive off. I don’t want to disrespect the typical Walmart shopper, but I have to wonder how many of them have insurance to begin with…

Pretty funny considering that Walmart doesn’t even offer its own employees full time benefits…

walmart is all a scam. they don’t care about anyone. I have had the worst customer service experiences here in the last six months it is sickening. Do not buy any electronics from them ever. Definitely no laptop or even a cell phone. I bought a dell its junk they wouldn’t take it back and I bought my husband a cell phone and now it’s just shutting on and off by itself. you only have 15 days to return any electronic. I think their dad should have taught them what tough times are because they obviously have no clue. sorry just extremely angry and disappointed.

I work as an insurance agent for this program. The discount is for any Walmart shopper, and is applied as any other affinity discount. Coverage is exactly the same as Esurance offers under any program. You just end up saving a little more than you would have without the discount. If you are a bad driver, you will still pay high rates.

The only difference is that perhaps a disproportionate number of customers ask for the state minimum coverage levels, so make sure you get your UMBI, UIMBI and UMPD coverage!
