I doubt the attorney had the “same exposure” as the workers doing the project work….and if he was truly concerned, he’d minimize his part of the award so his “concerned, class-action clients” could have more funds for the annual testing he’s touting. But, we know THAT isn’t going to happen.
If she had mesothelioma, which I presume she did, it is a type of cancer ONLY caused by asbestos. It can take 20-30 years for mesothelioma to present itself, but once present, it is quickly fatal. Good for the family for getting what they deserved on their tragic loss. Asbestos is deadly and it sounds like the county and the removal crew did not follow OSHA rules.

This was over 30 years ago. Where is the cause and effect, let alone proof? Wow! No wonder lawsuits proliferate.
