After reading that rates have increased over 250% since 2005, I’m curious as to how much $ property owners in the area generally pay (or are expected to pay) for EQ coverage in the New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ) now in 2015? I know the EQ pricing will vary with age of structure and distance to known fault lines, etc. but is it to the point where EQ premiums for a 15% or 20% deductible EQ policy are at or above what the HO/Fire policy premiums are for the same residence?
Any responses from NMSZ area agents would be appreciated.
    Thanks!
