The Chicago Cubs may not have made it to the World Series this year but not because it lacked support from one of the city’s foremost insurance organizations — CNA Corp.
To celebrate the Cubs’ home games at Wrigley Field the National League Championship Series against the New York Mets, the company brightened the Chicago skyline with the Cubs logo on the east and west windows at CNA headquarters Oct. 20 — 22.
Unfortunately, the Mets swept the series against the Cubs despite Marty McFly’s prediction in Back to the Future II that Chicago’s home team would win the pennant this year on Oct. 21.
