My daughter had settled with Affirmative insurance company due to the automobile accident she was in and it was set to go to court in march and then they up and went bankrupt what should she do now to get the funds that is owed to her from the insurance company????
Do you have a state Guaranty Fund to pay when the company goes belly up? How about the agent who sold you the policy? He does have an obligation to place business with a stable rated company. Perhaps his E&O policy will be the place to start.
i just called The California Insurance Guarantee Association 818-844-4300 and they said I have to wait 3 to 4 months from now to get my paid in advance premiums !!
