Zurich North America plans to expand its HR Care service to mid-sized privately-held companies. The risk management tool will be available free of charge to mid-sized private companies that purchase Zurich Private Solutions, which offers both directors & officers and employment practices liability coverages under one policy.
HR Care is currently offered to companies with 200 employees or more that purchase employment practices liability on a standalone basis. HR Care is an online, interactive resource that covers Human Resource and legal issues, including hiring, managing and termination of employees, policies, forms, handbooks, daily news on HR, employment law, benefits, safety, unemployment, monthly updates, a newsletter, HR self-audit, research tools, and links to important HR information.
HR Care also provides important state laws to HR as well as information and resources on other countries including Canada, Mexico, the U.K., the Netherlands and Spain. In addition, users can receive monthly updates on HR Care via e-mail and can participate in discussion forums on issues affecting the HR environment.
