John Sculley, the technology and marketing visionary best known for bringing big brand marketing to the personal computer industry in the early 1980s, will be speaking to attendees of the 2002 ACORD Annual Conference this May in Orlando, Fla.
Sculley, a partner at the private investment firm Sculley Brothers LLC, will outline the impact that recent innovations in technology will have on consumer markets, as well as some of the concepts his companies are developing to transform business in the millennium ahead.
Sculley will also speak directly to the Conference’s theme, “Real World Solutions”, when he underscores the value of standards and technology within successful business strategies. Sculley will look at inflection points in the value chain of the insurance and financial services industries where marketing ground rules can be changed and where there is an opportunity to become the number one service in the related industries.
Prior to forming Sculley Brothers, Sculley was CEO of Apple Computer, CEO and president of Pepsi and was voted “Advertising Man of the Year” by both Advertising Age and Adweek magazines. He was also named “CEO of the Decade for Marketing” by the Financial News Network.
The 2002 ACORD Annual Conference: Real World Solutions is scheduled for May 19-21 at Walt Disney World’s Dolphin Resort in Orlando, Fla.
