Kevin Kowar as been named regional director and vice president of Main Street America Group’s Southern Region.
Main Street America Group’s Southern Region includes Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. As director of the Southern Region, Kowar is responsible for managing the operations of the marketing, underwriting and policy service functions of that region.

Kowar is currently regional vice president for Indiana Insurance Company in Lisle, Ill. He has 21 years experience in the industry, having begun his career with the Hartford Insurance Company. He also has served as vice president, Personal Lines Underwriting for Peerless Insurance in Keene, N.H.; assistant vice president, Underwriting, Indiana Insurance; and personal lines manager and territorial underwriting manager, Peerless Insurance in Charlotte, N.C.
