Independent insurance agencies are now able to access billing information in real-time for Travelers small commercial policies directly from their Applied Systems agency management system, supplementing the wide range of existing e-service transactions currently available with Travelers (www.travelers.com).
With this new capability, agents can view their clients’ billing information in real-time from within their agency management system rather than logging on to a separate proprietary system or calling Travelers. The new capability is part of Applied Systems’ “Light ‘Em Up” Campaign, designed both to install new real-time interface transactions within all agencies using Applied Systems agency management systems, and to automatically enable communications with the major insurance carriers they represent.
The real-time transactions are processed through IVANS Transformation StationTM, a managed Internet data exchange using Web services and ACORD XML.
