Computer Sciences Corporation announced the availability of new life, annuity, and property and casualty (P&C) insurance software that complies with the company’s new global standard for enterprise integration architecture, CSC e4.
Newly released CSC e4-compliant software products for P&C insurers include: S3+, POINT, Series II, COLOSSUS, Riskmaster, Litigation Advisor, @Fault and PATRIOT Protector. For life and annuity carriers, CSC has released CSC e4-compliant versions of nbAccelerator, PerformancePlus, CyberLife, VANTAGE-ONE, FUTUREfirst, VP/MS, ViLink, XML Gateway and Product Profiler.
For more information about this application software, which supports the core business processes in today’s insurance operations, use the Solution Finder on the company’s financial services Web site, located at http://www.csc-fs.com/systems/solution_search.asp .
CSC e4 is component-based and uses open standards such as ACORD’s standard XML interfaces and HTTP-based protocols. It unifies software application components, eAI middleware, business process management (BPM) systems and workflow tools to manage transactions between all major parties involved in insurance processes, both inside and outside the enterprise. Compliant software products integrate easily into heterogeneous environments, accommodating clients’ technology preferences, enabling continuous change and facilitating end-to-end business process management.
The culmination of approximately 250 software engineers’ efforts over two years, in close collaboration with CSC clients, these new software releases join the company’s extensive portfolio of insurance products and services.
