Guy Carpenter & Company Inc., the global risk and reinsurance division of Marsh & McLennan, announced the appointment of Bill Henriques as senior vice president in its Professional Liability Specialty Practice.
“Bill’s technical product expertise and extensive experience as a broker will be instrumental in enhancing our current client relationships as well as developing new treaty opportunities,” noted Andrew Marcell, managing director and head of the company’s Professional Liability and International Casualty Specialty Practices.
Henriques joins Guy Carpenter from Converium Re, where he was a senior vice president responsible for managing the North American Professional Liability division. His specialties include Directors and Officers Liability, all classes of Errors and Omissions Insurance, and financial products such as Loss Mitigation and Representations and Warranty Insurance.
Prior to Converium, Henriques was responsible for servicing existing clients and the production of new business opportunities at E.W. Blanch Company. Earlier, he was a treaty underwriter at Transatlantic Re and a primary underwriter at National Union.
