Kansas City-based underwriting manager and claims administrator Euclid Managers has developed a new Web log devoted to Internet, tech and media liability insurance hot topics, including coverage analysis, recent case law and industry current events.
The blog is open to the public and entries are posted by the Euclid Managers claims, marketing and underwriting staff. The blog is dedicated to the agent-and-broker community but, the company said in a statement, is not a promotional marketing vehicle. It delivers news, educational material and announcements much like a newsletter or law journal would, but without the usual time or delivery constraints often associated with traditional print or e-mail.
“I see the blog as a great opportunity for us to discuss events and coverage issues in a far-reaching and fast-paced manner,” said T.R. Franklin, Euclid’s vice president of claims, Euclid Managers. “Now, when a customer contacts us with a coverage inquiry that could be of interest to the agent and broker community at large, we can share the intel in a matter of minutes by posting a blog entry. It’s truly a great way to share information.”
To access the blog, visit www.euclidmanagers.com/blog. New entries will be added on a regular basis and all entries are archived by category for easy searching. For more information, e-mail Marcia Jenson at
Euclid Managers also has an Itasca, Ill., office, that underwrites architects and engineers professional liability and public-entity package and professional coverages. The company is part of the Euclid Insurance Services operation, which has more than 5,000 customers and annual revenues in excess of $17 million. It is a full-service agency offering a wide range of property, casualty, life, accident and health insurance products to individuals and businesses.
