Edward Levy, president and chief executive officer of Delaware Valley Underwriting Agency, Inc. in Hatboro, Pa., announced the appointment of Rob C. Rigsby to the position of professional liability manager.
Rigsby will be responsible for managing all facets of the professional liability division, including all production results. Rigsby will work under the direction of Hatboro manager and vice president, Rita Hanebury.
Rigsby joins DVUA with 15 years experience in insurance sales management, excess and surplus lines, workers’ compensation, healthcare/medical insurance management, and risk management.
He earned three designations from the AICPCU: Charter Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Associate in Reinsurance (ARe). He is an active member of the American Risk and Insurance Association, the Risk and Insurance Management Society, and the CPCU Society.
