Enough with all the whining already.. We will never know what would’ve happened if AIG went down. After all said and done it’s useless to criticize why they bailed them out. Now we should hope that AIG and all the other bailed out companies do good so we can get out of the mess we were in a year ago..

AMEN !!! You all make is sound like the money came right out of your pocket and now you can’t feed your families…
Pleeese… Give it a rest, be glad they are very willing and able to pay back the loan. What if you couldn’t pay your mortgage, would you want your lender to “let you fail” Of course not, you would be looking for someone to bail you out of trouble with a promise to pay them back.

Is this the same Moody’s who rated all those derivitive packages, CDO’s and the like that did so well?

well, is it not my money that the gov’t has? and don’t i have the right to let them know i don’t like what they are using it for? what is wrong with this institution failing? how many banks have failed? i heard last week, 5 banks have failed. this is a big deal, and if we as a people fail to realize this, then why are keeping the same folks in office as legislators? we should be hoping that w/interest that the money that AIG is giving back, we should have a year w/o paying taxes.
