I don’t care if it is Spitzer, Jesse James, or Tiger. I just wich that one of them would step to the mic and admit the truth:

“America, I must confess to you, it was DANGED FUN while it lasted!”

If they had any character Spitzel & Bill Clinton would be in hiding and Hillary would be wearing a mask.

You’re really reaching with the Clinton references. Most politicians are self-aggrandizing, emotionally crippled whores with no more understanding of the public good than any other moron. I can’t think of one who doesn’t make my skin crawl.

Why is it that it’s always the ultra-leftwing wackos that commit the egregious acts and then figure they’ll be forgiven and that they can come back in a few years.

At least fallen Republicans don’t try phony-a*s comebacks.

Shitzer should crawl in a hole (keeping on his socks, of course) and stay there.

Only a liberal with no morals would think that Spitzer stands a chance of winning office again and lets just say he did. What does that say about our society?

Eliot crawl back under the rock you’ve placed over your own head. No sympathy for an SOB who messed up the insurance market with his witch hunts.

Want a full time job, you slob? Go beg for forgiveness from your wife, slimeball. Your electability is rather limited.

That’s right! No one deserves a second chance! I’ve had enough of this Jesus and all his talk of forgiveness! Death to the infidels!

DC re-elected Marion Barry even after he was convicted.

The morons who live in New Orleans re-elected Nagin even after he failed them in his most primary responsibility: protect the city.

Spitzer will get elected to something again. I would not vote for him but large cities have a way of doing stupid things.

Like Chicago re-electing Daley even after he breaks federal law by shutting down Meigs Field in the middle of the night.

Yeah, sure, it’s just Democrats. Sen. Ensign, Gov, Sanford, Rep. Vitter, Rep. Foley, Rep. Bauman, etc. ??? At least Spitzer left office. Don’t ever forget…there are sleazy elephants as well as sleazy donkeys.

As a Republican from Illinois I can state that you are correct. In fact, I think the republicans might be leading the dems for number of office holders who are now cons.

Very old joke: how do you know a politician is lying?

Sure, it’s never the conservatives that do things like devote their political lives to fighting gay marraige then get caught with their pants down with young men. Or fight for the “sanctity of marraige” then get caught cheating. And Larry Craig isn’t into gay sex in bathrooms, he just has a really, really wide stance so his feet stick way out into the adjacent stalls.

Get off yer partisan high horses and open your eyes to the fact that lying, scummy worthless ****beads have infestation rates on both sides of the isle of almost 100%.

i would rather have eliot spitzer than a mean-spirited, wife-hating newt grinrich or any other right-wing REPUBLICAN hypocrites. spitzer messed up, but as a public servant he is 20000% better than guliani, the crook, or any one of those hypocrites.
