$25,000+ for a one day wedding? Elope and use it for a down payment on a home. You’ll be happier in the long run.

Anybody having a wedding that has a loss limit requiring an insurance policy is engaged in waste. keep it simplke stupid and use some restraint. Oh and by the way the bigger the wedding the more likely the divorce. My risk mangement recommendation is to can the wedding coverage and purchase Wedlock or marriage cancellation insurance.

Wedding coverage is protecting a small risk. Divorce is the unexpected catstrophic large loss all men face in today’s world where the courts and teh law overwhelmingly favor the woman.

weddings for those i know are pushing more toward 30 -40 thousand and that with a lot of restraint an limitng invite lists that is not counting the ring, engangement parties or events , additional travel for family hotel stays honey moon etc.. but insurance just work the contract with the venue the right way put everything on paper , now divorce insurance that sounds like a smart idea for many.
