Funny how they never said this during the campaign or debates from last election!

FFA, We have been waiting for the cost of living to come down, the promises of Healthcare costs to come down, the cost of doing business to come down and sadly, they keep going up. All the reports I see is that Healthcare costs will continue to escalate for both Group & Individual business. I just received renewal info on 3 Groups and they average 15% increase. Employers will be forced once again into paying more or adopting a plan with less coverage or dropping their plan, paying the penalty and trying to figure out how to stay in business. I hate to think of where we will be in just under 4 years from now.

Yes… the savings will be there when all of the Baby Boomers die and/or the US government transforms doctors into commodities and regulates pricing (thereby driving people away from becoming doctors.

Everything Obama does needs to “take time.” I like the time it took when Bush cut taxes that took place after 9/11 and when the economy was in the tanks. About one year later, the economy was humming again. With Obama, here we are almost 5 years later and we are in worst shape than ever! Who is he fooling? Dictators have clever ways to put things, they are smooth talking, yet only the fools believe them.

I think this is called the misery index. We had 4 long years of Jimmy Carter and the nation was miserable. We thought the first 4 years of Obama had a high misery index. I am afraid we only scratched the surface on how bad it is likely to get.

I think we all know how this will turn out including accountability, or lack thereof, on the part of this president, his administration and the congress. He is nothing more than an agitator that is always looking for a boogeyman to blame and malign. Solutions really are not part of the narrative; only platitudes. However, solutions are not rally desired since they would end the “need” for the agitator. Therefore, the narrative on the boogeyman of the day can be a moving target and, if necessary, the targeted boogeyman could simply be change so we can move on to yet another “cause.”

In the case of healthcare, the president will continue with his well known course of action and divisive ways, which never include accountability and/or admission of failure. Facts and the truth mean nothing. Worsening conditions are due to everything, but him and his horrible policies, of course. Or “conditions are improving, actually are not that bad and would have definitely been worse if he had not shown such wonderful leadership.”

At the end of the day, though, he will once again come away unscathed. The American people, for some strange reason, continue to buy the snake oil and give him a free pass. Also, there is a snowball’s chance in Hades that the “they’re in on it, too” Republican Party will ever step up. The GOP could not be more of a disappointment.

And, by the way, I’m tired of hearing about the impact of the media since there are a fair number of people who have been on to this guy for years in spite of the fawning media. Unfortunately, those of us who want no part of this have no choice short of relinguishing U.S. citizenship.

If Obama were President, he would have fought FOR the British. At least some people are finally waking up to see this man is evil. Dictator is the nicest thing I can say about him.

The show – The Bible on the History Channel has an actor playing Satan who is a dead ringer for the President. The producers say it was not intended and it was a Moroccan actor, but I swear he looks just like Obama. Obama is acting like his character.

Anyone who thinks there is ANY savings to be had in this Governmental albatross is either stoned, drunk on has a mental impairment.
According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) this month, said the cost of Obozocare has risen from $900 million (The budget forecast from the Obama Admin) to over $3.6 trillion and rising.

How anyone can think we can put 20 or 30 million more people on healthcare plus 20 million illegals but soon to be “flag waving Americans” (another joke) onto healthcare is an idiot. This was done to buy the future elections for Democrats and it will bankrupt the United States. Savings, what a joke.

Sargent, good comment. I think the average Obama voter is a few cards short of a full deck. There will be no competitive marketplace for Health Insurance. What companies want to compete for the PreX crowd out there that they have to accept? We are going to get 20 Million more sick people added to the rolls and everyone’s premiums will continue to rise. The doctor shortage we have now will continue to grow as doctors close their practices and not replaced. We may just end up with some doc in the boxes manned by PA’s and Nurse practitioners doing the minimum.

One of my friends wanted to switch doctors and she wanted to see mine. Come to find out, my doctor, whom I have been going to for at least 20 years, is no longer taking new patients. Not sure how long ago she stopped, but she was taking them a few years ago as another girlfriend of mine now goes to my doctor. I find this to be very interesting. Perhaps it’s just a coincidence – maybe not. Pehpas she does have all the patients she can possibly handle.

@always amazed; My doctor has stopped taking new patients as well. He has spent the last ten years buying retail space and building his customer base. He has signs in his office, and on his windows, stating he will not take any new patients. In his opinion, Obamacare will lead to doctors spending much less time evaluating the sick and much more time trying to see double the number of patients per day to make the same money. He is only 50 and has one of the largest offices in my area. He refuses to go this route and wants nothing to do with Obamacare, although it is his belief, at some point in time, ALL doctors will be forced to have a percentage of their patients using Obamacare. If you thought you were only a number before… Well, now you are about to become a statistic. Obamacare is simply another nail in the coffin of a once proud Republic. Socialism is here, thanks to Satan, errr… Obama.

So we can impeach a President for having an affair but you mean to tell me there is not one thing Obama has done to start an impeachment process? This is sad that everyone has just thrown up their hands and given up or have we just become lazy. Either way I’m tired of hearing Senators, Governors, News Correspondents and everyone else in America bitch about this ass in the White House and not do anything about it. He has lied and according to sources has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. To me that is a helluv alot worse than boking an interin.

I get that you disagree with Obama but some of the crap you are posting makes you sound like twisted bigots. If you want anyone to listen to your real arguements, please don’t dilute them with bigoted comments about…

    Satin
    Satan
    Muslem Brotherhood

Personally, my health insurance premiums went up 15-20% per year for the three years PRIOR to Obama Care. They are still going up, and frankly as an insurance person, I can’t see how a for profit system can really be functional. The house always wins right? I know that in my line of business, we charge and underwrite to give our stockholders a profit. If you don’t like our rates – move.

Hard to move ones health or lack thereof.

All of that said, from what I understand, the bill is such a nightmare because of working with the industry groups.
