Great American Insurance Group’s Professional Liability Division has formed an alliance with the Herbert H. Landy Insurance Agency to offer professional liability insurance to real estate agents, brokers, appraisers and accountants. This new program will be available in all states, with the exception of Louisiana and Alaska, effective April 1, 2014.
Reina Gregorio, divisional president of Great American’s Professional Liability Division said the addition of these new products reflects the company’s commitment to selectively expand its product offering in its target market segments.
Great American Insurance Group’s professional liability division launched earlier this year with offices in New York and Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania office is dedicated to supporting professional liability program business, while the New York office supports the division’s open brokerage platform, including its miscellaneous professional liability product.
Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the operations of Great American Insurance Group are engaged primarily in property and casualty insurance, focusing on specialty commercial products for businesses, and in the sale of traditional fixed and fixed-indexed annuities in the retail, financial institutions, and education markets.
