Not to mention the free publicity that esurance has here. Personally I don’t like the company. I was insured with them in the past and they really botched up our PIP claim for $18,000 of medical bills that I had to glide over to our medical coverage and pay the required copays out of pocket plus the cost of the perscriptions.
Is this even legal? Would the various state insurance regulators permit an insurer to hold a contest with funds originating from premiums policyholders have paid for their insurance???? Would this “expense” affect the company’s future rate filings??
