Kinsale Insurance Company has formed a new Inland Marine Division. Havis Wright recently joined Kinsale as the division manager named to lead the effort.
Kinsale’s initial underwriting focus is on the inland marine classes found within the construction, mobile equipment, transportation, retail and miscellaneous areas. In addition to the company’s ability to underwrite a range of traditional inland marine classes, Kinsale has the capability to tailor coverage to complex and/or difficult-to-place risks.
Wright started his career at The Hartford in 2005 and has held positions of increasing responsibility within The Hartford as well as the inland marine departments of the Travelers and most recently Marsh USA. Wright earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri.
Kinsale Insurance Co. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kinsale Capital Group, Inc. The company specializes in excess and surplus lines property, casualty and specialty insurance. Kinsale is headquartered in Richmond, Va., and is eligible in all fifty states and the District of Columbia.
