I hate this garbage. Privacy is a basic human right, and it is being severely undervalued. Life shouldn’t turn into an episode of ‘Black Mirror’ where even the most mundane aspects of daily life, such as brushing your teeth, are tracked, recorded in a database and subject to a penalty/reward system.

Situations such as these develop over time because people sit on their duffs & let it happen. It is too easy to do nothing. Remember the story: They came for a stranger & no one objected, they came for a neighbor & no one objected, they came for a friend & no one objected,—then they came for you.

Overall I believe strongly in the use of telematics especially with regards to Motor Vehicle Insurance. A number of Insurer around the world have proved correct in the use of tracking their customers useage . Metro Mile’s pay by the Miles you drive is a bonus for owners that don’t drive their cars all that often. They receive significant discounts. However I feel the Bluetooth Toothbrush is going that one step to far. This is pretty intrusive to say the lest and the discounts that his dental insurer provides me must be worth this intrusion.
