It behooves Congress to research practices of drug approval and regulation used in Canada. People with life-threatening illnesses who cannot afford the necessary drugs in the US often travel to Canada for those needed drugs. Why? Affordability and availability.

TrumPolar, the FDA is another of the bloated bureaucracy that needs to be trimmed back. They are slower than molasses in January when it comes to getting drugs approved that have been approved in other countries.

TrumPolar, perhaps our new President can fast track drug approval from the snail’s pace of the past so that needed drugs can be brought to market. He will have to ream out a lot of FDA people that were doing the bidding of the former POTUS.

    TrumPolarBear,

I wonder how much the tort systems between the 2 countries impacts the availability and affordability?
