Polar, the trolls don’t even bother to rant at you anymore. They just downvote because they don’t have any reasonable answers. The hate is too much for them. We should all invest in Preparation H stock right now. There is a bunch being sold for these losers.

The operative phrase in the title is ‘for now’.

But there is a possibility that he won’t properly divest of specific investments that might cause conflicts of interest within 90 days of his confirmation.

But why wouldn’t he be ABLE to divest within 90 days?

Answer: it would be puzzling, so it is only a remote thing Libitterals can hope for now, as they are powerless to stop the confirmation. IOW, they are grasping at straws and running for cover as the DC swamp is drained of career politicians, lobbyists, and liberal media members.

Polar, the sore losers were all over the great Ernie Els for playing a round of golf with our new President and the Prime Minister of Japan. By the way, Trump let Ernie use his golf course free to do fund raising for his Autism foundation (his son has Autism). What a sorry element we have in this country who protests, stirs up trouble, has Soros bussing them around to protest, riot, burn, all because their gravy train was upset and overturned.

Radio chat as of late asks “What did Obama know about Flynn’s calls and when did he know it?”

Translation: phone tapping occurred DURING OBAMA’s term in office, and was done to sabotage people who might join TrumPresident’s staff / Cabinet.

Don’t think the Flynn phone CALL to the Muscovites was the ONLY one tapped by spooks being covertly directed by Obama. Stay tuned for the possibility of the leaks being traced back to ‘high places’…. and watch the impact on Dems going forward.

When will the democrats realize that raising the minimum wage 50% (from $10 to $15 an hour) will increase the cost of the product? A burger for $2 may have to rise to $3 to pay the extra employee costs. So anyone today making $31,000 or more will have to pay directly out of their pocket to enjoy these products. Anyone making under $15 an hour today will have the increase subsidized by their pay raise. It could make the product less affordable to the masses, cut bottom line profits which are tight, and even cause businesses to go out of business and have all those workers unemployed.
Doing a 50+% increase all at once is not a good idea. Doing it over a time period would ease us all into the higher prices.

Jack, I recently saw an article about Seattle and their foray into the $15 hour minimum wage. Hasn’t worked out so well there for the restaurant business. These workers started asking for a reduction of hours because they would make too much to qualify for all their freebies. Less hours worked = reduced service and dissatisfaction from customers.

Some (public) union labor rates are tied directly to the state min wage.

That explains it for those who are capable of ‘connecting the BOTs’.

Oops! I forgot to mention that a relatively small percentage of workers make min wage. So, politicians in blue states aren’t likely swayed by them as a voter bloc. With that stated, the influence of union workers is much clearer.

I don’t have handy, er, paw-y, the 2016 stats on min wage workers to the whole work force, by state, or nationwide.

        But here’s the BLS.GOV 2014 and 2015 synopses:

        https://www.bls.gov/opub/reports/minimum-wage/archive/characteristics-of-minimum-wage-workers-2014.pdf

        https://www.bls.gov/opub/reports/minimum-wage/2015/home.htm

The first number that is useful and sufficient to support my points above is that about 4% of HOURLY WAGE workers are paid the minimum wage, per 2014 stats. Not much else needs to be said to indicate the veiled motives I mentioned are the driving force behind minimum wage hikes. But more states are going to ‘Right To Work’, so this movement for increased min wage rates – to indirectly fund Dem candidates through union dues re-direction – is destined to fail.

Polar, remember all those false reports we had been getting from the Labor Dept for years saying the rate was declining due to a better economy (when it wasn’t). 95 million out of the workforce, record food stamp usage, lowest labor participation rate. Well, the jobs front is looking up now with new policies put in place. The unemployment rate is creeping up slightly because those people that gave up under Obama are getting back in the labor force again and are counted. When we get the participation rate up to 70+%, I think we will have the economy humming again. Janet Yellin, the Fed chairman has been lamenting the 2% growth rate of Obama. Not sure what she will say when we hit 4% under Trump. She will probably just raise interest rates to cool the economy down again and cause inflation.

Yes, ignore the majority of minimum wage workers-those who don’t get paid hourly. Right off the bat your “analysis,” and I use that term loosely because you have proven you don’t have the skills to do analysis, even lying about your degree, is flawed and irrelevant. The rest is a screed essentially about nothing, because it is written poorly. Make your conspiracy theories coherent please.

Flynn had contact with the Russians before the election. The Steele document has been proven to be credible, and is getting more and more verification daily, in fact law enforcement officials recently said as much. Trump and Flynn committed treason, as did Page and Manfort. Oh big surprise, 2 other Russian-tied, Russian-backed officials who also left the administration. The only question is how many of the deplorables will support Trump to the end? Please, Yogi, stop making claims that simply are not true. 90% of the posts here now are you lying or posting incorrect info.

Flynn lied to the FBI, he should be jailed. Conservatives do not care about anything other than being against liberals.

Yesterday a bunch of white house aids were escorted from the building after failing their background checks, 10 aids resigned, and the person Trump offered Flynn’s job to declined because the administration is an amateurish sh**show. Of course, the most notable geniuses and liars here love tge administration and do not kniw whether to believe it because Trump has not told them what to think yet.

What they will find after pulling back the cover is the route of the info from the spies directed by Obama the Saboteur, to the media via illegal leaking much more intense than that done by Leaky Leahy D-VT.

Sadly, an attack could benefit Trump if he waved the flag and got the press behind him. Just like 9/11 he would lie (as he and his administration does with every single topic) and people would ignore that his incompetence probably caused the attack. Trump’s best interests and the USA’s best interests are direct opposites.

Obama was “weak” but Russia has a spy ship off our coast, illegally deployed cruise missiles, and has stepped up actions in Syria since Trump took office.
