Never thought that I would say this but the GOP needs a Majority Leader with the dishonest bent and wiles of Harry Reid. I hated the SOB but at least he was loyal to his president [who shall go nameless] and got things done. McConnell is not even a pale shadow but I think just as dishonest.
Yes, we noticed what Dirty Harry got accomplished in the prior 8 years and how he stuffed the Republican House bills without even considering them. What he got done was all the wrong things for the country. What a guy! McConnell has been and is a RINO who is in the pocket of Special Interest lobbyists just like the other ones who torpedoed Repeal & Replace. The President was right in calling him out and embarrassing him. This should have been done by now.
How about just fixing what’s wrong with the ACA? Don’t repeal and leave Americans with no coverage at all. Come up with a good replace that will cover all equally. If the congress & the president had to have the same insurance as all other Americans, you can bet they would come up with something that works for all. It’s a good thing there are still people in government who are not “yes men” to the president. That’s all Trump wants and he is wrong….so wrong. I agree with your last paragraph. Regarding ACA, if you want to repeal it, then come up with something better that will not leave so many Americans without coverage….but get that done so when ACA is repealed, there is something better that will immediately take it’s place.
Yes, I believe Obama was better than Trump. Trump tells so many lies and, for so many other reasons, does not have any idea how to be a president. He is trying to be the dictator and only wants his way. Let him read some history and learn how to lead. The other two voted ‘no’ because they are RINOs and are afraid of losing their re-election in a few years. So, I need not ask any of those 3 who will not be re-elected for one reason or another.
So, I will conclude by your inability to answer my simple request for a list of 3 good things with regard to ACA that either you are un-informed about ACA’s merits, or it has less than 3 merits. Thanks for verifying my suspicion.

That would be like me asking you to provide 3 benefits of legalizing marijuana.
If the replacement was so great, all 3 would have voted yes. There is no disputing that. Just because President Trump and nearly all of his supporters may vote against what is best for the citizens in order to hold a grudge, doe not mean others will also.
In addition, if Senator McCain’s was solely against this due to a grudge, why did he defy his doctors and come to DC just to vote to bring the bill up for debate. He could have easily and understandably, just stayed home.
Just face the reality that the replacement was garbage and the only reason a great majority of Republican Senators voted yes was just to keep a very flawed campaign promise.
I think we, the American voters, should sue him for breach of contract. You know, language that he may actually understand.
Do not try to blame the lack of accomplishments on anyone else. Maybe he should have at least a little bit of research to determine the feasibility of accomplishments within the 1st 100 days prior to making such promises.
