Repeal only. Await insurance companies to fix long run problems with health care and health insurance, with some legislative ‘fixes’ required enacted by Congress.

Revise tax code in light of other legislative actions; e.g. repeal only.

Analyze the most efficient infrastructure upgrades and improvements that will lead to increased economic growth. Ignore projects deemed to be ‘bridges to nowhere, intended to merely create jobs for construction industry workers’, and focus on construction jobs that yield high economic returns to the community. Do photo opps with politicians digging a hole with gold colored shovels, then step aside for the work to begin and the economy to boom.

    Cut out the middle man!
They screwed me again. After fighting for 6 months to get my health care back, they cancelled my dental insurance.

Never thought that I would say this but the GOP needs a Majority Leader with the dishonest bent and wiles of Harry Reid. I hated the SOB but at least he was loyal to his president [who shall go nameless] and got things done. McConnell is not even a pale shadow but I think just as dishonest.

Yes, we noticed what Dirty Harry got accomplished in the prior 8 years and how he stuffed the Republican House bills without even considering them. What he got done was all the wrong things for the country. What a guy! McConnell has been and is a RINO who is in the pocket of Special Interest lobbyists just like the other ones who torpedoed Repeal & Replace. The President was right in calling him out and embarrassing him. This should have been done by now.

How about just fixing what’s wrong with the ACA? Don’t repeal and leave Americans with no coverage at all. Come up with a good replace that will cover all equally. If the congress & the president had to have the same insurance as all other Americans, you can bet they would come up with something that works for all. It’s a good thing there are still people in government who are not “yes men” to the president. That’s all Trump wants and he is wrong….so wrong. I agree with the statement “Analyze the most efficient infrastructure upgrades and improvements that will lead to increased economic growth”. Trumps needs to put his ego away and be the president. He is not running a company anymore; he’s supposed to lead the country which he is not doing well at all.
If he keeps up these tweets and talks about Korea, we will be involved in nuclear war and the draft will be reinstated – with 18 yr old girls going along with the other 18 year boys.

      To Integrity matters…..
I agree with your last paragraph. Regarding ACA, if you want to repeal it, then come up with something better that will not leave so many Americans without coverage….but get that done so when ACA is repealed, there is something better that will immediately take it’s place.
Yes, I believe Obama was better than Trump. Trump tells so many lies and, for so many other reasons, does not have any idea how to be a president. He is trying to be the dictator and only wants his way. Let him read some history and learn how to lead. Again, he is not running his own company – he is supposed to – with the Congress be taking care of the American people. – don’t see him doing it yet. He is a disruption and makes the USA look bad to not only so very many Americans but also to our Allies.

There are several much better plans in the hands of Congress, but they didn’t have the courage to go forward with them. Most of them get the govt out of HI and HC, and are FREE MARKET based plans to repeal and let the HI and HC industries fix their problems with legislative changes to regulations.

Instead they moved toward ACA-lite. FAIL!

Yes, everything is wrong with the PPACA. So much so that the recent replacement proposal by the Republicans contains many of the same benefits. It basically just removes the funding and redistributes wealth to the top 1%.

I believe you need to ask the 3 Republicans who voted to not repeal the law. I have been vocal in my opposition of the law since it passed Congress and signed into law.

More importantly, what does your request have to do with my post? I did not offer any support of the PPACA.

McCain voted ‘no’ because he is butt-hurt by TrumPresident’s criticism of him during the election campaign. He previously voted against ACA. The other two voted ‘no’ because they are RINOs and are afraid of losing their re-election in a few years. So, I need not ask any of those 3 who will not be re-elected for one reason or another.

So, I will conclude by your inability to answer my simple request for a list of 3 good things with regard to ACA that either you are un-informed about ACA’s merits, or it has less than 3 merits. Thanks for verifying my suspicion.

Please answer this one, very simple question; why do constantly want me to defend something for which I am against?

That would be like me asking you to provide 3 benefits of legalizing marijuana.

If the replacement was so great, all 3 would have voted yes. There is no disputing that. Just because President Trump and nearly all of his supporters may vote against what is best for the citizens in order to hold a grudge, doe not mean others will also.

In addition, if Senator McCain’s was solely against this due to a grudge, why did he defy his doctors and come to DC just to vote to bring the bill up for debate. He could have easily and understandably, just stayed home.

Just face the reality that the replacement was garbage and the only reason a great majority of Republican Senators voted yes was just to keep a very flawed campaign promise.

I think we, the American voters, should sue him for breach of contract. You know, language that he may actually understand.

Do not try to blame the lack of accomplishments on anyone else. Maybe he should have at least a little bit of research to determine the feasibility of accomplishments within the 1st 100 days prior to making such promises.

“Nobody ever knew healthcare would be so hard!”

Dealmaker in chief has been 100% ineffectual at getting anything done.

Apparently being a dealmaker means getting embarrassed by your own party’s inability to work together and being unable to convince Democrats to work alongside him.

Instead, he calls them and the 4th pillar of government, the News, his “Enemies” and “Enemies of the people”

That isn’t just dangerous rhetoric, its the logical steps towards tyranny and fascism. You know, the very thing that losers like helium-huffer Mark Levin pretended to care about under Obama.

Dealmaker in chief has been 100% ineffectual at getting anything done.”

When dealing with people who have insisted on stopping any conservative agenda? Yes. He has had issues. Don’t go walking back to conservatives on this one. If you do, it must be wrong on both sides, and you can’t now switch the blame to the recipient unless you have a bias. The moment you complain on this, you become a hypocrite.

“Apparently being a dealmaker means getting embarrassed by your own party’s inability to work together and being unable to convince Democrats to work alongside him.”

Only 3 people diverged. The party can work together, and I might add you actually complimented the 3 that diverged. So it’s good when they diverge, except for when it’s bad, whichever meets your agenda for republican bashing for the day.

“Instead, he calls them and the 4th pillar of government, the News, his “Enemies” and “Enemies of the people”

A bit of over exaggeration, but even such no one cares. Style of message does not change the context. You just called the other people unable to work together. What was that? Ok for you and not ok for Trump? It’s called telling the people what the problems are, in his own style of speech. What is more dangerous is what you’re doing. It allows people to be riled up by how something is said, instead of what is done.

“That isn’t just dangerous rhetoric, its the logical steps towards tyranny and fascism.”

Nope. What you just said is though. Fascism is not when you say that a part of government is inefficient. It is more when you say that the government should control everything, because people like Trump speak like fascists, and must be controlled due to rhetoric. Which your leaders are instilling in you just fine.
