Allstate announced the Texas rollout of a new product, Your Choice Auto Insurance, which the company says provides consumers more choices, innovative features and enhanced rewards for safe drivers.

The product, available beginning May 23, is offered through both independent agents and Allstate exclusive agents.

In addition to Allstate’s standard auto policy offerings, consumers in Texas can now choose from three new, optional packages: Platinum Protection, Gold Protection and Allstate Value Plan.

Based on their individual needs, consumers can choose among new features like accident forgiveness, new safe driving rewards or enhanced protection for new cars. Consumers can also opt for the Allstate Value Plan—Allstate’s most affordable and convenient insurance plan.

The key features available with the Platinum and Gold Protection packages include:

–Accident Forgiveness: Helps keep rates from going up just because of an accident.
–Deductible Rewards: Gives an immediate $100 off collision coverage deductible and an additional $100 off for each year of accident free driving–up to $500 total.
–New Car Replacement: Can provide replacement value for a policyholder’s new car if it is totaled in a covered loss – not just book value.

Additionally, the Platinum Protection package includes a Safe Driving Bonus, which offers a credit that can be applied to the next renewal premium for every six months of safe driving.

“The Your Choice Auto product is a breakthrough for Texas because it further recognizes consumer differences and can actually give them more control and rewards,” said Lisa Sturgeon, Allstate Texas marketing manager. “With Your Choice Auto, customers and Allstate agents can work together in a new way to develop a policy that is competitively priced and can help better meet an individual’s needs.”
