Report: La. More Insured than any Other State for Flooding

    Here are some figures gathered from the NFIP website that shows Florida\’s flood policy count. Notice that it takes more than the next 10 states to equal the total number of flood policies in Florida.

    You are not paying attention to what the article says. The article says that Louisiana has the highest level of participation in the program. That is based on the percentage of the population that is insured. Of course Florida has more policies. It is a much larger and more heavily populated state.
