Columbus, Ohio-based State Auto Insurance Companies Executive Vice President and COO Mark Blackburn will offer his view of Texas, the nation’s third-largest property and casualty market, at the 2007 Dallas All-Industry Day, Nov. 20.
Blackburn will join several other insurance company executives in offering a perspective on this strategically important market. He’ll discuss the progress of State Auto’s recent entry into the market, as well as the tremendous potential the state holds for State Auto and other insurance companies.
Blackburn joined State Auto in 1999 after holding executive-level positions with Grange Mutual Casualty Group and General Reinsurance Corporation. He has served a number of non-profit organizations, including The Buckeye Ranch and the Columbus Museum of Art.
This year’s event is jointly sponsored by the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas (IIAD), University of North Texas (UNT) and the Dallas Chapter of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Adam’s Mark Hotel at 300 N. Olive St. in downtown Dallas. The fee for the full day is $130 ($100 for IIAD & CPCU members), or $55 for lunch and exhibit hall admission only.
