The Insurance Council of Texas (ICT) has released its newest brochure, “Holy Fender Bender! What Do We Do Next?” which provides simple, useful information for motorists dealing with the aftermath of a traffic accident. The brochure details what steps to take immediately following an automobile accident and offers advice on obtaining information from other drivers involved.
“Holy Fender Bender” also outlines what to expect when a motorist’s vehicle must be towed, what expenses automobile insurance policies cover, what insurance Texas drivers must have and prevalent types of auto insurance fraud.
“We recommend all drivers keep a copy of this brochure in their glove compartment along with proof of insurance, so they will be more prepared in the event of an accident,” said Mark Hanna, a spokesman for ICT. “All motorists, especially young drivers or those who have never been involved in an accident will benefit from having this brochure.”
“Holy Fender Bender” is readily available as a PDF on ICT’s Web site at http://www.insurancecouncil.org/docs/tips/HolyFenderBenderBrochure.pdf.
