The aftermath of the Katrina disaster is the poster child of how not to rebuild an area. Between Federal, State & City officials, the graft and corruption is unbelievable. Former Mayor Nagin has been indicted on charges of corruption and he may just be the tip of the iceberg. FEMA would have been better off just giving these people trailers to live in rather than build sub standard housing at an inflated price.
