It is nice to see the GOP-led House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology actually take science seriously for a minute. The GOP’s strategy of maligning scientific research and scientists as a broad group is dangerous and terrifying. I guess they don’t feel the need to put on their usual “scientists are untrustworthy Liberals” hats, perhaps because this particular matter does not involve oil & gas or coal production.
