International risk and insurance brokerage, and benefits consulting firm Summit Global Partners announced that J. John Simione has joined the Boca Raton, Fla. office as senior vice president. Simione specializes in providing strategic advice and customized risk and insurance solutions for companies with complex business risks.
“J. John Simione provides a ‘total enterprise risk’ approach for his clients,” said Jeff Haynes, president and CEO of Summit Global Partners of Florida. “He specifically addresses financial, strategic, operational and hazard risks.”
Businesses in real estate, hospitality, private equity and venture capital, technology, telecommunications, health care, construction, and alternative staffing will benefit from Simione’s twenty plus years in risk management and insurance. He joins SGP from Marsh, an MMC Company, where he was senior vice president. Simione served as the southern regional leader of Marsh’s Technology and Telecom Practice, and the Florida practice leader of its Real Estate and Hospitality Practice. Simione is a member of the Board of Directors of The Florida Venture Forum, and is co-chairman of their 2003 Annual Venture Capital Conference.
