The CPCU Society, the professional association for more than 26,000 CPCU-credentialed insurance industry professionals, has named Lou Dobbs keynote speaker for its 61st Annual Meeting and Seminars.
Dobbs will deliver the keynote presentation entitled “The Political Economy,” during the meeting’s general session Monday, Oct. 24 at 8:15 a.m., with a Q&A to follow. The Annual Meeting and Seminars will take place in Atlanta at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Oct. 22-25.
In his keynote address, which is being sponsored by Atlanta-based Crawford & Company, Dobbs will share his insight on the economy within a political perspective. He’ll discuss how current political events affect investing and the business environment, and he’ll offer a broad view that covers global and domestic issues-from Main Street to Wall Street, from the DAX to the NIKKEI.
Dobbs will blend anecdotes from his career in financial journalism, with the insight gained from his role as anchor of Lou Dobbs Tonight, to provide a look at what’s ahead for the economy – both short and long term. Dobbs is the anchor and managing editor of CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight.
