The Professional Insurance Agents of Florida (PIA) has received special recognition for achieving an unprecedented 50 consecutive months of positive gains in membership. PIA of Florida received the Special Recognition of Achievement award during a national PIA awards ceremony in Portland, Oregon.

“PIA of Florida is committed to being the best association for agents in the state and this award is a testament that we’re on the right track,” Mark O’Connell, PIA of Florida’s chief executive officer said after receiving the award.

Lori Williams, PIA of Florida president said, “It is an honor to be recognized for our sustained growth. But our real thanks go to our member agents who recognize that PIA of Florida is a valuable asset to rely upon to keep abreast of all the changes our industry faces.”

“Our national association takes great pride in the achievements in membership growth by PIA of Florida, which set the pace for all of us,” Ray L. Peretti, PIA national president said. “PIA of Florida was among the first to achieve the kind of phenomenal growth our association is now experiencing on a national level.”

“PIA is an activist, aggressive organization and agents know it,” Peretti continued. “PIA will always stand up for the interests of the members of our association.”
