The Iroquois Group provides markets for insurance agencies.
We have multiple homeowners markets available all rate A or better. If you need a market give us a call at 972-747-0458.

This story about the brighter future has been playing for the last 7 years. During which time Vesta has gone from A to C++. With all the earning assets sold to \”strengthen surplus\” what rabbit will Vesta try to pull out of the hat this time. I would bet on the credentials of AM Best before I would the word of Vesta. By the way, did they ever post their 2004 financials? Last I heard no one at Vesta wanted to sign on the bottom line.

I take exception to your comments about Vesta. They are one of the best companies that an agent can be appointed with. What other company offers preferred rates on risks that have muliple losses and pays great commission to boot? And if you send them enough business, you get free boat ride in the Gulf where you can play shuffleboard with their upper management! I would write more about them but I need to go buy a lotto ticket so I can retire by this weekend.

Have been told that Vesta has execellent financials and that their loss ratios are among the lowest in the industry. Please, someone tell me what the true story is.

I am quite disappointed with Vesta by having 1500 shares of worthless stock and contracting to write with them and they quickly pulled the plug on Alabama. I have even move my vehicles over to them.

Doesnt surprise me a bit! The premiums were unbeatable, commissions great, but you cant expect to sustain a company selling policies for 50% below the current market. In the end, no body wins.
Glad i never contracted with them.

The problem with writing with Co.\’s like Texas Select / Vesta Group, is their rates are so unbelievably low, that when something happens…and it usually always does, you reach a point where you have to move that business where the rates are current with the rest of the market and the client has a 30% increase in premium. The client gets mad and shops the coverage and it\’s gone. Then it\’s bad word of mouth negative advertising for your agency. You get what you pay for, right? I always get leary when rates are ridiculously low because at some point reality is going to kick in and you\’ve painted yourself in a corner. Always go with the rates that are in the middle of the road. Those Companies are usually the ones that are around year after year after year. It might be wise to educate your clientele on this concept. Lowest rates run the risk of what\’s going on with Vesta right now. Their time is drawing closer. Now, there\’s going to be a ton of insureds looking for coverage and they will be shocked to see what market average premiums look like. Low ball premiums always scare me and it usually causes a huge headache somewhere down the line.
