I revel in any event that throws a wrench in the gears of this machine of evil. Only people can be evil, but the totality of the compartmentalized individuals’ actions of this company wrought of exploitation, destruction, and murder adds up to something bordering on the hellish supernatural. I long for the day when this company fails. Humanity is better off without it.

Great to see the Judge saw through the “Contractor Defence” claim.
That defence can only applied to product manufacturered for the US Government.
In this instance the case applies to the lazy and incorrect incineration of waste product at the plant.

The fight never ends but the Men and women and their Families exposed to Herbicides lives have ended in a lot of Cases and some are still fighting for the truth and justice.

Too bad this appears to be limited to open pit burning of AO in West Virginia. Many of us developed serious and often fatal diseases from our exposure to AO in the ’60s & ’70s but AFTER the 1984 settlement. That settlement, btw, supposedly barred any individuals from suing Monsanto and the other corporations at any time in the future. What a way to cut one’s losses! Best of luck to the plaintiffs in this case, I hope the Judge rules BIG in their favor.

You have no idea the pain and suffering that this has caused the families of the workers who in fact made and tested the so-called “weed-killer” known as Agent Orange in the 1950’s-60’sat the Monsanto plant. My mother had a mis-carriage, my father would die in 1964 while working at the plant. All three of his children suffer various skin conditions, psycholgical issues, learning disabilities, and cancer. Now… it has gone into 3rd and 4th generations with cancer and learning disabilities as well. All we ever wanted was accountability.Research how it is embedded in genes and chromosomes… Read about what has done to the population in South Viet Nam. The people involved in this were diabolical maniacs who deserve to be held accountable for the pain and suffering that they created. And by the way…. my aunt is on death’s door-step with brain cancer from working at that plant. She was the human resources director and still denies that anything dangerous ever occurred at that plant…… To find this out 40 years later and that it’s in our bodies and we can do nothing about it…… It’s just like something out of the Twilight Zone…..
