SoFlaAgent, I agree, but it is not just our Florida Legislature. It is all of the legislative government in our nation. Politics has gotten in the way of our elected officials from doing their jobs. Now they are so concerned about staying in office than they are the financial well being of our State and even our Country.
Time for a new Tea Party here in Florida. We need to stop promising things we can not afford to provide or spending money we do not have.
Sarah you are absolutely correct. The politicians are more concerned with staying in office than our financial well being. But we are all responsible too. We want cheaper, bigger, better, more, now and aren’t willing to pay the consequences later of having it.
With the exception of Rep. Hager and possibly a few others, the vast majority of our “professional” legislators are completely spineless.
