Glad to see the VILLAGES is famous, or is it Infamous for something other than high rates of sexually transmitted diseases…those seniors are keeping busy with GOLF and must have a good supply of the BLUE PILLS??

Did the guy actually pay premium for his golf cart? How can a court find coverage if no premium was paid for same ?

Seems to me that while I could theoretically insure a golf cart on my HO policy, if I modify it into something it wasn’t intended to do – like exceed the original speed it was designed for – then the modifications make the risk mine.
If I were to modify my wife’s minivan (not that I have one) by dropping a supercharged V8 into it so she can race the other soccer moms to the field, I wouldn’t expect coverage to follow without knowledge and consent of the carrier.

In the Villages, vehicular anarchy is the rule, not the exception. The police and sheriff departments do little about this problem. Sheriffs are elected officials, so too many tickets issued for speeding and stop sign running would mean no reelection financial help for their next term. Developers will not support law enforcement that identify their home developments as dangerous and lawless.
