The California Department of Insurance (CDI) recently added a new link to its website, www.insurance.ca.gov, to help people affected by the Youngville/Napa earthquake.
The advisory provides links to the California Office of Emergency Services and the U.S. Small Business Administration, and also informs consumers about the CDI Consumer Hotline, (800) 927-HELP.
The Sept. 3 quake had a magnitude of 5.2 and caused more injuries than any quake in California since Northridge. The Los Angeles Times reported that damages could reach $15 million.
