IBA West Past President Marv Kristan died at his Indian Wells home Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000 from complications due to cancer. He was 79. Kristan had been suffering from cancer and other ailments for the past year.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Irmas Campus of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple, 11661 West Olympic Blvd. (at South Barrington Avenue), West Los Angeles. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to any charity or to Helping Hand of Los Angeles, c/o Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, 8700 Beverly Blvd. , Los Angeles, CA 90048.
