The Automobile Club of Southern California has licensed Claims Outcome Advisor ™ (COATM), an injury claims-management solution from ISO Claims Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), to manage its personal injury claims business, identify market trends and provide service throughout the claims life cycle.
The industry’s first object-based solution to enable the complete management of bodily injury claims portfolios, COA helps claims adjusters, managers and actuaries manage the medical, legal and occupational issues presented by bodily injury and workers’ compensation claims and helps ensure fair and equitable settlements. Claims adjusters can manage all aspects of a case from first notice of loss to return-to-work plans, rehabilitation and general damages.
Selected by the Automobile Club following an extensive review of the marketplace, COA will roll out to more than 300 claims adjusters and management staff in Southern California to help them manage the auto insurer’s bodily injury claims portfolios. COA will help claims staff identify opportunities for early settlement, in order to provide equitable general-damage assessments on each case.
In addition, each Automobile Club business unit will be able to analyze performance and service levels and spot trends in the marketplace to actively manage its own personal-injury claims portfolio.
