Timothy Chaix, president of R.E. Chaix & Associates recently announced that they have added a new branch office to service the Inland Empire.

According to Chaix, Robbie J. McKinney is the lead underwriter for the Rancho Cucamonga office and will be responsible for new and existing business from their agents in the State of California. Joining McKinney is Fazia Bhawani, broker/underwriter. Bhawani comes to the Chaix organization with a strong background in underwriting and brokerage. She has more than 20 years experience working at insurance carriers. She moved into the wholesaler/MGA environment when she joined ARIS/B&W Ins. Services and most recently was at Bliss & Glennon
Max Rappaport, marketing representative, will be housed from the Rancho Cucamonga office. Rappaport, a familiar name in the Southern California area, has been with the Chaix organization since 2001.
Chaix adds that “Fazia and Robbie have worked together in the past and make a very good team. With Max’s assistance, I’m confident we can raise the level of service our agents and brokers have come to expect from us.
