M.E. James Offers GL for Roofing Contractors

M.E. James Surplus Lines Ins. Agency has a general liability program for commercial and residential roofing contractors.

The coverage is a Limited Claims-Made form offering up to five years prior acts coverage and up to a 15 year supplemental extended reporting period. New venture contractors are considered.

Policy limits are $500,000 with a $2,500 deductible and a minimum premium of $5,000; and $1,000,000 with a $2,500 deductible and a minimum premium of $7,500.

Carrier is rated “A- VIII,” non-admitted. Available in California.

    15 year extended coverage on a non-admitted carrier is scary considering the admitted carriers are disappering.
