Bob Amado, president of Colemont’s Northern California offices, announced today his plans to retire effective Jan. 1, 2006.
“Bob has been an excellent steward of the Colemont name since he joined our firm in 1997,” said Marshall Kath, CEO of Colemont Brokerage Group. “During the last eight years, Bob has been an outstanding leader in our organization and has successfully grown our offices in San Francisco, Sacramento and Fresno.”
Bob will continue to work with Colemont through 2006 helping transition his book of business and leadership functions.
Doris Barnett has been named to succeed Amado. Doris joined Colemont in 1997 and currently serves as an executive vice president and casualty broker in Colemont’s Chicago office.
“Doris has consistently demonstrated her ability to increase her book of business as well as share in management responsibilites,” said Kath. “I am confident that under Doris’s leadership, Colemont’s Northern California offices will continue to grow. I know she will quickly become a leader in the local specialty wholesale insurance marketplace.”
