This may be the first step in doing away with state premium taxes. Without authority over insurance companies they\’ll have a more limited authority to collect premium tax.

If the Allstate Insurance Company indemnification issue is a nationwide problem to solve, why should it not be treated like other class actions where consumers have been negatively affected, and are seeking common legal relief, and justice?

Surely Allstate will want to do the right thing and follow the spirt of the law that will benefit their clients, who faithfully believe (nationwide / worldwide), that they truly are \’in good hands\’.

    And then again…maybe not.
