IBA West Service Corp. and AmWINS Access have teamed to offer a specialty workers’ compensation program for IBA West member brokers and agents and their construction, trucking and security guard clients.
Coverage is provided by “A”-rated carriers in California. There is a $10,000 standard premium (base rate times payroll), and no minimum premium volume requirement.
Other program highlights include:
•New ventures and accounts with lapse in coverage considered for construction and trucking risks. Security guard operations minimum three years in business.
•Online submission for timely quote.
•Mod range: 70 – 179.
•Direct bill and multiple payment plans are available.
•Each risk is individually evaluated for appropriate market submission.
Ineligible risks include:
•5222- concrete construction in connection with bridges or culverts; 5552- 5553- roofing; 6307 – 6308 – sewer construction; 6315-6316 – water mains, gas mains or connections.
Accounts where the standard premium (base rates times payrolls) is more than $130,000 can be sent to the middle market.
New business submissions require:
•A completed 130 Acord application;
•Three to five years of loss runs valued within 90 days of the effective date; and
•A supplemental application on accounts more than $35,000.
