The Albertsons supermarket chain is recalling its in-house brand of bean soup mix from shelves in western states.

The recall is for its 20-ounce Albertsons 16-Bean Soup Mix that has the UPC number 41163-48496.

It’s believed the product was contaminated with glass.

The company says the mix was sold at stores in Ontario, Oregon, as well as those in other western states: Idaho, Utah, Montana, Nevada, Wyoming and North Dakota.

The company said customers who purchased the product should bring it to an Albertsons store for a refund or exchange. The Albertsons customer service center is at 877-932-7948.
