Robert Sadler, chief financial officer of Bristol West Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of Farmers Group Inc., has been promoted to president of Bristol West.
Sadler joined Bristol West Holdings Inc. in 2001 as senior vice president – Marketing. In December 2006, he was appointed chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Bristol West, Sadler served as the chief financial officer of Reliant Insurance from 1996 until 2001 when Reliant was acquired by Bristol West. From 1992 to 1996 he served as chief financial officer of Agency Insurance of Maryland Inc.
Sadler joined Ernst & Young’s Baltimore office in 1985 where he spent seven years providing accounting and auditing services to clients in the financial services industry, with a primary focus on property & casualty insurance companies.
